✭ Quiz Retake Procedure ✭

Important Notes:

  • You have one week from the day your graded quiz is returned to you to complete corrections.
  • You may get help from classmates, parents, or teachers. However, make sure YOU understand your errors enough to explain them clearly.
  • If you do not know how to rework a problem and no one else is able to explain it to you then schedule a time to get help from the teacher!
  • You must use a Quiz Correction Form for reworking your problem(s) and explaining.
  • Getting a question correct because you guessed will possibly mean you could miss that question on the retake. Therefore, it is in your best interest to come see the teacher so that you can learn that information before the retake.

Procedure for Retake -

  1. Use the Quiz Correction Form 
  2. Write down question numbers of missed or misunderstood problems.
  3. Rework problem SHOWING ALL WORK and including the correct answer.
  4. Write a paragraph explaining what you did wrong, what you did to fix that error and how you know that your answer is correct. Write enough to prove that you understand it now.

What do you get in return for all this work?

  • You get a chance to retake another version of the quiz. Doing this work is showing me you have studied so that you will most likely do better on the next quiz.
